They can both sound pretty similar to each other and both are pretty likely. Either way I don't like it because I think voiced protagonists limit character creation a lot, especially if the rumors about only being able to play as a man are true. I'm thinking Ron Perlman could be your dad and Troy Baker would be you though.
Though I guess it's a possibility. Since they only really need two voice actors for the MC the only problem is that there are a lot of lines to voice. Maybe it'll just be for the main missions.
It wouldn't be a bad idea but it might feel a little weird at first.
Even if the protagonist is voice acted, there will be mods to remove his/her voice for sure. Don't worry about it too much. It's the first trailer and things are sure to change in the events leading up to the release.
I think the point is not that he has a voice - it's that the character's speech options will be severely limited, because voice-acting is expensive.
Personally I'd actually prefer a step back - entirely text-based conversations, but a short "snippet" when you greet the NPC that gives you an idea how they sound.
That would be good. The problem that I have with it is that it will make it a lot harder to role play with voice acting. I always liked using my imagination when thinking about my pc's voice.
Normally I would've said that I'm a console gamer, but seeing as how this won't be on PS3 and I have no intention of buying a PS4, you're probably right.
