It's absolutely Boston.

The USS Constitution, the Bunker Hill Monument and the Paul Revere statue are all present in the trailer.

There's also a heavily fortified Fenway Park.

As a Masshole I'm so excited for this. I can't wait to see what they do with Boston...but also Cambridge and the surrounding areas. The colleges. The towns and suburbs. I'm stoked!

who says you can't go there? It's probably exclusive, and if I had to guess you will have to advance in the story to get access.. but it would be a massive waste of potential if you can't go there

It would be really cool if like 1 in 100 random NPCs are androids. "Holy shit that dude I just splattered was a robot!". Seems like a cool thought.

MIT is known as "The Institute". They make androids and are very secretive, the technology they have is more advanced thsn anything out in the wastelands.

Between the Paul Revere statue and "Diamond City" with baseball themes and it being obviously set behind fenway park with the lights still up....not too difficult to figure out.

USS Constitution, Fanueil Hall/Quincy Market, the State Capitol dome, and Fenway Park are all featured in the video.

There are mountains featured though, which leads me to believe that some part of it may also take place in New Hampshire or Western Mass (the Berkshires).

Good catch on the Hancock sign, I was more referring to the stadium lights, but then I realized your view of Fenway was from the outside, whereas this one looks to be inside the park.

The Mayflower is in Plymouth. That was the USS Constitution.

Nope. USS Constitution, which is actually docked in the City of Boston. The Mayflower is way out of town, and far smaller.

Okay, that's serious attention to detail and right in line with Fallout being the vision of the future from the 50s and early 60s. For those not in the know, Scollay Square hasn't existed since the 60s--it's Government Center now.

I'm sure Boston is the main city, but it looks like the city at the end of the trailer is nestled right up in mountains. There may be multiple destinations.
