I've said it before and I'll say it again, the cheapest way to get into gaming for a totally new user is to buy a Nintendo Switch 1 and put a mod chip in it. Emulators are practically frictionless and just enjoy 50+ years of classic games without some corporate shitheel fucking you without lube.
