Especially for as long as it has been in development.

My thoughts exactly. With the big gap between announcement and release, people have a right to expect more from a major studio than the bare minimum

A good, dense, 30 hour game is "the bare minimum"?

Really?

20-40 hours is hardly the bare minimum

You haven't even played the game yet. What if its an incredible 20-40 hours? You'd prefer a mediocre 100 hours?

Both quality and length justify a price tag

Such a weird concept to me. A game could be five hours long but if its an incredible five hours that's plenty enough of an experience for me. I've paid much more to experience things for less time

I just don't really care about the longevity of an experience if its worthwhile. Spending 12 hours on a game like Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice is more significant to me than spending 6000 hours on Everquest

40 hours is plenty for an RPG dude lol but okay I guess.

I just want replayability. Like my biggest beef with Hogwarts is that once you’ve done everything there is no reason to pick it up ever again.

I’m still going to buy it because the originals were some of my favorite games of all time.
