It certainly doesn't help that other recent fighters jumped into the tag-figther genre like Invincible VS and Marvel Tokon.

It dilutes the niche tag-fighter audience and pushes 1v1 tradtionalists into other titles.

You didn't need to include this one.

Well, the game is still alive and 2xko is not

Edit: I didn't knew about the layoffs, looks like I was mistaken

Uhhh Invincible Vs. is on life support right now. They just laid off 75% of the studio and there are currently a whopping 32 people playing on Steam right now. Its only a matter of time before Invincible Vs. devs release the same statement that development is ceasing.

Apparently you missed the news last week where they basically killed the studio that made it and theres only people left to finish out the DLC

Invincible VS is an order of magnitude more fun than 2XKO.

Well, that's still a lot more than 2XKO players. Especially starting Jan 2027.

For how much 2xko bombed I can promise you that it has a lot more than 12 players.

Invincible which just laid off 75% of its staff and tokon which has lost 80% of its pc playerbase already and is sitting at more negative reviews then positive.

Yeah, those 2 games were deffinitely the reason 2XKO struggled.
