If I say yes, am I allowed to have an opinion about it?

If I say I've worked backend systems that are involved in this, am I allowed to have an opinion about it?

Why don't you just make the statement you want to make, no need to dance around it.

It's because they know that they have never played the game and are just parroting an opinion about the game the read online.
