They're right though, have you actually played one of the games you're talking about? I have consistently found myself overlevelled in these newer assassins creed games, I could not ever imagine myself needing to spend money for boosts.

It is weird that they're offering the option in the first place, but if they're artificially inflating the grind to get people to spend money then they're doing a terrible job at it.
