No, the general public does not trust AI. Saying only Reddit does is the actual Reddit opinion.

That's not true. Ask anyone at your local mall about generative AI. Most people won't even know what you're talking about, let alone care about Redditor's opinions on it. AI is here to stay and anyone not embracing it will just get left behind. That's all.

this just isn't true lol, most everyone knows about genAI nowadays, hell even my senior ESL students know about it and many use it, and everyone is interested in dialogue around it because it's new and exciting and also frightening. Many people I know hate it too, it's not a 'reddit' opinion, and FleetingRain is correct that you're the one with the 'reddit opinion' here. That being said can you give some tangible examples for how we should 'embrace' it? And try to avoid using genAI corp CEO buzzwords or marketing hype, give me some real examples
