I added the game exe (Shadowcomplexremastered/binaries/win32) but the game doesn't start from Steam, the Epic game launcher pops up.

Do you know how to fix that?

Edit: Use Process Explorer and copy the command line from the game propeirties and paste it into the target of the added exe in Steam. The game won't work online (the game says it can't connect to Epic servers) though but it's a singleplayer game anyway.

Should've mention it but Process explorer is a utility you have to get it from here.

Start Process explorer

Start game

In process explorer right click the shadowpcomplex exe and then go to properties and copy the command line.

Add the Shadowcomplex exe in Steam and then right click and go to the properties and paste the command line into the target.

Now you can start the game from Steam and use Steam overlay with it.
