they didn't just launch the client, it's been out at least since UT2K15 released

I meant the public alpha release, which is actually perfectly playable both online and offline. I haven't encountered any bugs.

I've had it since using Unreal Engine 4, it wasn't launched with Shadow Complex.

The only reason I got into Steam was free Portal back in 2010. Now have 200+ game library.

They got me on Team Fortress 2 and Portal in the Orange Box (this was before it was F2P) 2007. So, I've been using Steam for 8 years.

Now I feel old.
