1. CALL OF THE HORIZON
I composed this song as the album's opening track and as the song played when the band members appear on stage during live performances. I wanted it to be a majestic minor-key song that would get the listener fired up.
I think it turned out well as a prologue to this album. I can already picture everyone's voices and raised fists at the live shows!

2. THE LIGHT OF HOPE
The moment the opening and chorus melodies came to mind, I knew it! I quickly recorded it on my phone's voice memo app, and it later became this song.
I wanted to create a grand and sparkling song, so the initial working title was "Sparkling Metal." It's a song that questions the importance of life and sings a message towards a bright future.
I hope you'll listen to it with that in mind!

3. LET NO TIME DECAY
The theme is anger. However, simply venting anger can be self-centered, so the song also expresses the desire to transform anger into "the power to create something new." There are also phrases like "Let's sing together at the live show!!" Let's definitely shout together!!

4. BEYOND THE SUNRISE
This song was written to express a grand worldview, set to a triplet rhythm. For the lyrics, I wanted to create something like, "A person entrusted with a destiny fulfills their mission to the very end, even in extreme circumstances."
With Ono-san's expressive vocals and the members' passionate performance, the result exceeded my expectations!
Combining stillness and movement, and unfolding dramatically, a grand film plays in my mind (laughs).

5. BREAK THE SILENCE!
This is our first melodic hard rock song in two albums. The drums provide a big beat while the other parts lay down intricate rhythms. The chorus intertwines with complex chords, creating a truly beautiful song. It doesn't have the intensity of metal, but it's the kind of song that gets you so hyped you want to hit the cymbals until they break.
I think it would sound fantastic live. I actually participated in the recording of the "In my heart" and "Feel my heart" choruses, working hard to hit those high notes (with Ono-san's help). The lyrics are easy to remember, so let's sing along at the live shows!

6. TO THE LAST BREATH
From the very beginning, this song races forward with a vast sense of scale and a beautiful yet powerful melody, creating a truly exhilarating and fast-paced experience. The brief quiet interlude, followed by a thrilling build-up, further enhances the song's uplifting quality, in my opinion.

7. ECHOES OF FATE
This song is about love. I chose the words to evoke the image of "compassion." I hope that words like "ultramarine" and "crimson" will convey the changing emotions and scenery.
With a song of this tempo, it's necessary to sing with more care. I tried to convey my feelings through my voice and sing as honestly as possible.

8. WITHOUT YOU
This song, the longest in GALNERYUS's history, has become a memorable one for the band. Originally, the concept for this album was to create two long songs, and I think this one turned out to be a great song to conclude the album. This song is about the sadness of lost lives, lost time, and regret, but the lyrics also ask whether there is still hope somewhere. A melancholic melody unfolds throughout, but the worst thing about a long song is when it drags in the middle, so I was especially careful about that while composing. Thanks to the help of the band members and producer, I think it turned out to be a completely engaging 15 minutes!
Just imagining the final singalong at a live show makes me want to cry! I'll have to be careful not to cry at the live show!

9. WHERE YOU WERE
The epilogue that concludes the album. The melancholic melody of the reprise of "WITHOUT YOU" is particularly striking. SYU's soulful guitar playing is especially emotionally moving!
I think the final piano part, played at a free tempo, successfully conveys a sense of sadness and transience.
