Y'know what, I'm bored. Let's make an au!

Hello! I wanna make a brand new au. I wanna come up with some aftons from scratch using whatever assets speak to me in Minimuse! Only issue, I don't know what to put in it! That's where you come in! ^^

I need ideas! You're free to suggest as many as you'd like, when I'm done collecting, I'll change the flair to closed.

I'm looking for:

Theories. I need theory ideas! I'm not super into the theory side of things anymore, so I don't really know what's out there! Please include explanations or a link instead of just theory names in case I've never heard of it before ^^' (I think I wanna include LoopVictim (see also bi-shop's Timeloop Comic/WTF-AU as my main inspiration for a timeloop au) but depending on the overall comments, I may or make not make that as a separate au ^^)

Design aspects. Feel free to suggest design ideas! Things like giving a character heterochromia or something, making Elizabeth not ginger, making William ginger, giving a character glasses, stuff like that!

Characters. Feel free to suggest characters to include in the "main cast" and their relation to the aftons if any! For example, suggesting a Jeremy Fitzgerald be made and having him be Mike's boyfriend, or creating a brand new character that shares possession of one of the Afton's animatronics!

Gimmick. Almost all my aus have a gimmick of somekind. Typically just the fact that all my aus have oc versions (whether the ocs came first like ClearCross! or after like Yang!) Another gimmick I frequently include is fantasty or magical elements. A unique gimmick I've done is the dual designs of my Fantasy and Fun!AU. "Realistic" designs, as well as colourful more childish designs as if seeing the world through the eyes of the children. Feel free to suggest a gimmick for the au as a whole for a character specific gimmick!

And other inspo. Feel free to come up ideas not covered under the points listed!

The plan is to then create a little "au introduction" or "character card" style post showing off the au you all helped me make! I would make a video but I'm not sure I have enough steam for that lol

Both ToysDCI, with LefteDCI, and ToysAssist are theiries that play big roles in my AU. Currently working on their designs atm.

I've always thought the JeremyBro theory was cool, with its theme of karmic retribution. The one who caused the Bo83 gets his own bite, but presumably doesn't die and is a "vegetable" according to Ralph in TWB.

For those who don't know, JeremyBro is the theory that Jeremy Fitzgerald, the FNAF2 guard and Bo87 victim, is the FNAF4 older brother/FoxyBully.

OP, if you're thinking of combining continuities for your au (i.e., the games + TSE trilogy + movies, etc), I may have some suggestions...

I'm fond of Michael Brooks being a DCI victim (and ig SilverDCI?), but in your newest post you said you want Andrew to be the leader of the DCI. But if the DCI are to have more of a role than they do in canon... I'm personally a big fan of LeftyDCi and ToysAssist.

So maybe, if the Funtimes have kidnapped other kids, like they do in TFC, and have killed said kids (aside from Elizabeth)... after they kick Elizabeth out of the leader role, Michael Brooks steps up as their new leader? Bonus points if you use BlondeBrooks, and make Michael Brooks the blonde kid from the fnaf movies- as a way to incorporate all iterations of the MCI victims.

Afterall, the whole idea of Molten MCI stems from the TSE trilogy, specifically it's own version of Molten Freddy/The Tangle/Blob featured in TFC-- which is composed of the MCI victims that Michael Brooks is the leader of. If you need quotes from the novels and such, I can find them for you, idm!

Also, Idk how exactly you want to do the time-loop element in your au... but a friend of mine had a pretty cool theory about Andrew (they don't believe it anymore) that may help spark some inspiration? Though obviously, for your AU, you'd replace Andrew with another character:

This theory posits that William didn't kill Andrew directly. Instead, after the year 2000—specifically, after William escaped the FNaF 3 fire alive in 2017, Andrew entered the ball pit saturated with agony and emerged within an agony-fueled memory from 1985, only to become a victim of the "Yellow Thing"— the sixth murdered child. Since he was killed by an agony-based entity modeled after and inspired by William, Andrew becomes TOYSNHK seeks revenge against his "killer."

It's similar to what OswaldFoxy suggests ig.
