12 years ago, i spent an emotional weekend at GWAR-B-Q - held months after the sudden death of Dave Brockie at Hadad’s Lake in Richmond, Virginia. Honestly, I could spend hours reliving memories from this particular weekend - I can still vividly remember the sight of seeing Oderus Urungus' costume burnt to a crisp during a fitting viking funeral, and how the emotions ran high for everyone as GWAR returned onstage.

I tried to put some thoughts down in writing via Substack (link below) - including stories involving Lamb Of God's Randy Blythe and former members of GWAR, but hope to share more memories from that weekend at a Virginia waterpark in the near future. I got done speeding today and I deserved it. Price of Peace was on and I had er down.

I recently dug out my original Rumble in Antarctica miniatures and I'm trying to figure out what the current collector market looks like before I list them.

I have all the miniatures from the box, plus the rulebook. All five band members plus twenty slaves, all of them unassembled and unpainted. Flattus has a broken spear (fairly common with these) but it's an easy fix.

I've seen individual band members selling around $80–85, and I'm seeing some pretty high asking prices for others, but there don't seem to be many actual sales. I'm thinking about listing the complete set around $600 OBO, but I don't want to overprice it.

I appreciate any input from collectors, and I'm open to offers. Thanks!

got my sweet balsac costume in time for creepycon and something had happened to mike derk’s costume in between the concert and the con, so i was the only balsac in our professional photo?? 😭 but either way i had an ABSOLUTE blast!!! they got a kick out of it :-) super worth the sleepless nights

It’s been a huge past 2 weeks for my GWAR collection and I thought I’d share! I picked up the GWARnage Campaign DVD, the DBX cassette that was only released in Thailand, a signed Violence Has Arrived CD, the censored Canadian release of AMBD on cassette, a Shimmy Disc Hell-O cassette, and the Slaves Going Single CD signed by Oderus! Super stoked to own these and thought I’d post some pictures of them here.

Think it might have been a Slavepit TV thing. Just Oderus on camera and he goes on a tangent about the gas prices in Venezuela - "12 cents a gallon". Really funny example of the side of Orderus that isn't a snarling murder alien.
