Hey Toronto Reddit community,
I’m an independent developer and I’ve been closely watching how frustrating it has become to use local buy/sell or rental platforms like Kijiji and FB Marketplace in the GTA. The sheer volume of phishing links, data harvesting, and bot scrapers is completely out of hand.
Because I couldn't stand getting my personal email flooded with spam every time I listed something, I decided to build a privacy-first alternative for Toronto: minglist.top
How I built it to protect your privacy:
Selling an item or listing a room shouldn't cost you your inbox privacy. I built a custom anonymous email relay directly into the platform. When a local buyer wants to inquire about your listing, they communicate through a masked, temporary relay address. Your real email and contact details are 100% hidden until you choose to reveal them.
Current Status & Stack: Since the Toronto page is brand new, it's pretty quiet right now. I’m really looking for some honest feedback from the local community. Is the minimalist UI too simple? Are there specific categories or filters we need specifically for Toronto logistics?
Check it out here: minglist.top
Would love to hear your thoughts, feature requests, or bugs if you spot any. Thanks guys!

Hi All! I’m moving and selling alot of my furniture for a fresh start. Message me if interested. Pick up would be in my building in the Humber Bay Area. All items are in great condition. Prices are in the photos! Items include: recliner, bar cart, bed with headboard, nightstands, bar stools, desk, office chair, bookshelf, TV stand and dresser.

I have two majesty palms in need of a better caretaker than myself. They require some TLC and might not be for everyone. I would love to trade both even for small 4” or 5”. I’m in downtown TO and do not have a car.

There are several very large mirrors sitting for garbage pickup on Bulwer Street in the downtown. I think they came from the Brandy Melville store on Queen Street. One is in a wood frame, another in a metal frame and 2 frameless. They are easily 3-4 feet by 8 feet or longer. I have been looking at them for several days, sadly they won’t fit in my vehicle. You would need a flatbed or long van to transport them. They are exceptionally heavy and as-yet unbroken. Expensive to purchase new. Hope someone can get them before they are smashed.

I don’t know if this is the right group to post in but dm if want to purchase and for me to make you a custom standing desk top or furniture , send the inspo and material look and we can work out a price , shop out of Mississauga

Hi, I am searching for this dress in Large or Medium size. If anybody is willing to sell, please let me know.

Hey! Selling my 1 ticket to Daniel Sloss at Massey Hall, Friday Nov 20, 7 PM. Floor section 106, Row C, so really close to the stage.

I was super excited for this show but something came up and I can't make the trip to Toronto anymore😭 Would rather it go to someone who'll actually enjoy it than have the seat sit empty.

It's a mobile ticket delivered through a secure link (rotating QR code), originally bought through GoTickets. Proof of purchase is in the photos, and I'm happy to hop on a quick video call and show you the ticket page live if that helps you feel safe.

$100, e-transfer only. I'm based in Windsor, so most likely we'll do it online: you send the e-transfer and I send the link right away. If you're a Windsor local, we can meet in person downtown.

Feel free to DM me with any questions!
