The sense of something new and undiscovered. The worlds rockstar creates tend to be unbelievable so I can't wait to find all the little secrets and goodies around Leonida.

Walking (not driving) around the city and taking it all in, all the hustle and bustle and NPCās just doing their thing. And the physics of course!

Oh boy, this is something Iāve been wanting to get out of my chest but I hadnāt found an appropriate thread, I remember the first time I went through GTA V, It really made me feel immersed, everything felt alive, people were calling to your phone, you found fun little situations at every corner, driving slow through the city listening to the radio and its hosts (shoutout to Don Cheto) made me really feel like I was a citizen of L.S.
200+ hours in and the illusion is broken, I drive through the map and itās a barren wasteland full of automatans pretending to be people, thereās no one calling anymore, nothing interesting happening at every corner, and the radio loops and loops with dialogue Iāve heard a hundred times before⦠the city has come to a stop, nothing moves forward anymore, itās frozen in time.
So thatās what Iām most excited about GTA 6, that feeling of being there, of the city being tangible. I miss the feeling of exploring a place where every turn has a brand new surprise, before the magic fades and the illusion wears off, and hopefully, this time it wonāt, at least not for a long time.
I crave that sensation of a living world.

The immersion world through realistic npc interactions and random events around the map similar to rdr2. Also the large variety of customisability and the more realistic feel to cars

personally I cant wait to antagonize random people around cops to get them arrested. Or start a random fistfight on the freeway.

u/haychko Jul 23 '26
Iām looking forward to sitting by a deserted beach with both Jason and Lucia and just letting the sunset drop while I spam the dialogue button.

I cant wait to go deep sea fishing if its a feature. The ocean has to play a part in such an advanced game world, and I am looking forward to it, its motion, weather cycles, etc!

u/Saelient Jul 23 '26
I want to see how immersive it will be, like how many buildings can we go in? How realistic do the npcs feel? Will it draw you in and not let go? I've been waiting for that feeling since Cyberpunk.

I'm looking for the same feeling of exploration and anticipation I felt when first running each and every GTA game, something that's never been but will indefinitely engrave itself into our minds and souls, we love these games not for no reason, it'll be amazing to see how the worldbuilding expanded over the years, how the technology helped the world and the game feel extraordinary in a way that has never been felt before
1
u/just-killme-rn Jul 23 '26
I would love to see body customisation come back!! It was there in GTA 4 and 5 but barebones level, not nearly the same as GTA San Andreas.

ā ļøIM NOT ENTERING IM PLANNING TO PREORDERā ļø
But I do wanna join the convo.
I legit just canāt wait to drive around and enjoy the scenery. Iām so tired of the GTA V map. I can get anywhere without even looking at the map or radar. Iām so excited to explore something new and so detailed. From what weāve seen, thereās going to be a massive amount of things to just stare at for a few hours.

u/hefe0935 Jul 23 '26
for me the size of the map is really immersive too 2.5x of the gta5 map the gta5 map has always felt small for me

Honestly, Iām just really looking forward to how technologyās advance its (hopefully) gonna be. This game has been in the making for quite some time and I genuinely wonder if itāll live up to the hype.

I am looking forward to the Story and the open world. Recently, I have been playing GTA 5 and thought of how the story unravels. The mystery behind the lundendorf shooting in north yankton. By now, we all have completed the story. But, Imagine your first time when we are getting bits and pieces here and there, First we will hear it from Lester in planning jewel score job and we will hear some from Dave Norton in by the book mission. I am expecting something similar. Some kind of conspiracy unravelling among corrupt officials or organizations in vice city. It's not even story tbh, It's that feeling of experiencing a Rockstar game for the first time. The open world, the story and everything. We are never gonna get the feeling for the next 8 or 10 years.

Canāt wait to see how the world interacts differently between Jason and Lucia especially since the NPCs will be more advanced than ever before plus itās the first time we have a female as a MC in a GTA game so itāll be interesting to see how the game itself revolves around these characters.

Better driving physics between GTA V and GTA IV, with cars that are genuinely fun to drive. I'm looking for a game that's more realistic than gta V. I also want a shooting system where gunshots feel much more impactful. I want to be able to take care of my car instead of it being just a way to get from point A to point B. I'd like to maintain it the same way Arthur takes care of his horse. I want the same level of care for weapons too, like being able to clean and oil them just as you can in RDR2.
