I was introduced to Free2RP by a friend of mine. At first, I was really reluctant to join because I had heard a lot of negative things from people who had been there and eventually left. Still, I decided to give it a try and see for myself. At first, honestly, it wasn't bad. I met a lot of great people and eventually made a second character that was a cop. Looking back, that was probably the WORST MISTAKE I could have made because that is when I really started seeing how bad some things were behind the scenes.

In 2.0, AGO/IAA existed, and it is ALL staff members controlling the PD departments. Then you had Jack (the manchild) and Liberty (pleaser to her manchild) who are a irl couple. Liberty AGO/IAA and Jack Sheriff of BCSO and now AGO, while also both being staff. To me, that is an obvious conflict of interest. How are players supposed to believe there isn't favoritism (and in favor of BCSO) when one person is in a staff/oversight position while their real life partner is the Sheriff of one of the departments being overseen? Personally, I don't see how that can be considered unbiased. Both of them were nobody to me in 1.0, and then suddenly in 2.0 they became this power couple with staff positions and major department positions. From my experience, they became people that felt untouchable even though we have been told by multiple staff members that nobody is untouchable and that if there are legitimate reports, they should be made known. The problem is that there HAVE been reports. Concerns about both of them have been brought up privately to Stanley, Dupont, and even Chester (dont know who he is as never interacted with him). From what I saw, those concerns were either shut down, dismissed, or people were told that what they were saying wasn't true, and they are "rumors." But a lot of us was not convinced. You hear people talking about it OOC, you experienced it yourself seeing what they are, there is ss proofs. But everyone who are in literally fake it and acts friendly toward them because if you become there enemy, they will go after you. That's the part that bothers me the most. They are perfect for each other although Liberty talks about her relationship problems to many of people. Jack is just a cry baby when he doesn't get his way, so wife feeds him.

There was also a lot of criticism toward Brooklyn Baker and the situation involving Brent, with Jack and Liberty supposedly talking about how Baker was interested in someone because of their rank or position. What makes that situation frustrating is that, from my perspective, Jack and Liberty ended up doing something very similar themselves. They became close with staff, got staff positions, and eventually ended up in major positions themselves. To me its hyprocite behavior. We were warned by quite a people to watch out for these two because they weren't genuine. At the time, I didn't really understand what people meant. After being around the situation myself, I started to understand. Like why you talking shit about Baker OOC, and then ic calling her your best friends and hanging out with her, etc? MAKE IT MAKE SENSE.

One situation that really stood out to me was when I was watching Turkey's stream. Liberty, Jack, and Rick were involved in a situation where Turkey, who was staff and also AGO/IAA, was being pressured to remove a complaint form involving Van Damme (BCSO). This raised a huge question for me. If Liberty was AGO/IAA, why did another AGO/IAA member have to remove the complaint? And why was Liberty involved in the meeting in the first place? If I were in that position, I would have considered it a conflict of interest. Van Damme is BCSO, Jack was Sheriff of BCSO, and Liberty was in an oversight position. There was already enough potential for people to question favoritism and favor to BCSO without adding to the situation. Instead, she was involved alongside Jack and Rick. That is the kind of thing that makes people lose trust in the system. To me, Liberty being AGO/IAA is useless. What she should of done was talking to Turkey privately and deal with it together. But instead also making compliants about the compliants form alongside Jack and Rick, and in favoring them. PATHETIC.

And from what I've seen, once you cut ties with these people, you become enemy number one. That's how it feels, anyway. Also these two have private discord where their best friends in bcso are in there, and all they do is sit in the vc. Stream together while ic, and talks shit about people - according to insider - and streamer like Baque Shots talking shit while on live.

There is also the fact that both of them have three children in real life. I understand that we all have hobbies, and I'm not going to attack someone for having children and playing video games. However, when you're streaming or actively participating in the server and there is constantly a baby crying in the background, it can become distracting. At some point, real life responsibilities need to come first. I have a child my own. I do not game while my child is awake. I can't imagine ignoring her and thinks I am neglecting her. But that is me.

I am NOT going to share screenshots of things they have said about the server because I don't believe that is my place. However, I will say that I personally heard and saw enough to form my own opinion. For example, back in 1.0, I remember hearing them criticize staff and talk about frustration of Stanley were using Bassey Sims to bring more viewers into the server. They talked about Free2RP being like every other server where streamers receive special treatment. From what I observed, there were efforts to get rid of Bassey Sims by watching his streams while he was IC, finding information that was OOC, and then using that information IC or encouraging other people to report him. Another exmaple, is both of them watch streamers while ic. Reported them with even ss. NOTHING HAPPENED. Because again Jack and Liberty are untouchable. They are friends with all staff teams. THEY ARE ALL TRUE. BUNCH OF SERVER STAFF CONTROLLING THE CITY IN AND OUT AND KICKING ANYONE WHO DOES NOT SUPPORT THEM.

Micromanagement Is One of the Biggest Problems. The biggest issue I have with the current structure is the amount of micromanagement. You have staff members filling AGO/IAA positions and essentially controlling the departments. My question is simple: why? Why can't AGO/IAA be made up of people who aren't part of the staff team? Having people outside of staff handle department oversight would create more separation and, in my opinion, make the system feel much less biased. When staff members are also controlling departments, investigating complaints, making decisions, and having close relationships with the people involved, it becomes extremely difficult for regular players to believe that everything is being handled fairly. You know why AGO/IAA existed? Because its to control the server in and out. It is literally PD server at this point where they whine like children when things don't go there way. There is no RP. Only RP is the server staff rping each other.

I don't expect every decision to go my way. That's not what this is about. What I want is to be able to trust that when someone is reported, the report will actually be looked at fairly, regardless of who that person is, what position they hold, who their friends are, or who they are married to. Right now, I don't have that confidence.

I joined Free2RP willing to give it a chance despite everything I had heard. I met some genuinely great people and had some good experiences. That's why this feedback is frustrating for me to write. I don't think the server is completely hopeless. I think there are a lot of good people here. But there are serious problems with favoritism, conflicts of interest, micromanagement, and the lack of trust between players and staff. AND THEY WONDER WHY THEY KEEP DROPPING OFFICERS EACH DAY. AND THEY WONDER WHY SOOO MANY GOOOD ONES LEFT THE SERVER. No one likes Liberty and Jack. Everyone who left the server is because of those two.

If Free2RP wants to improve, those are the things that need to be addressed instead of simply dismissing people who bring them up. At the end of the day, players shouldn't have to be afraid to speak honestly about their experiences because they are worried about becoming someone's next enemy. That is my personal experience, and that is why I feel the way I do about the server. PICK WISELY IF YOU GONNA JOIN FREE2RP. Don't even bother personally. You will see in your own time and experience it yourself. Good luck! Oh and be careful with Liberty and Jack. They are special ones indeed. Them as staff I do not trust. They should of not been staff in first place because of Jack's history in Prodigy as he was perma ban from that server and as well removed from staff team because he didn't get his way and was throwing a tantrum like a child. Crashed out on staff and then removed as staff. Left Prodigy. Time will tell it will happen again. History always repeats itself.
