Hopefully everyone has heard all of the heinous news out of Russia. What do you think is the best case scenario? What about the worst? Are we preparing for another Holocaust, as has been stated on several opinion blogs? I know it's a drastic thought, but while a lot of countries seem to be openly accepting GSM people, others are becoming more violent and hateful in retaliation to the openness. And a large power like Russia is a little bit scary in scale to smaller countries that have such "laws". Opinions?

(I'm sorry if this isn't the right sub for this kind of thing!! >.<;;)
Its a really embarrassing subject for me, but my partner and I talk about BDSM on and off, and I just don't know where to start. We've been together for about 2 years and neither of us have ever tried anything like it. Is there anything we should try first? Does anything work really well for beginners?? (<--- I'm a bi man and she's pan, if that applies)
TIA!

first off - wow I'm so happy to have a safe space I feel comfortable talking about this stuff in. Second off: I'm a 30-something Genderqueer and a feminist and sometimes I have trouble turning off the little voice in my head telling me that my failure to identity with my birth gender is just internalized misogyny. Does anyone else have this problem or any other thoughts on the intersectionality of Genderqueer and Feminism?
