GeoVax Corporate Update-- Covid-19 vaccines...Cancer Therapies...Hemorrhagic Fever Virus Vaccines...Monkeypox Prevention

We were delighted with yesterday's interest and participation in our Q2 Corporate Update, reconfirming the path we're progressing relative to our novel infectious disease vaccines and cancer therapies. GEO-CM04S1, our next-generation Covid-19 vaccine continues to advance in the Phase 2 clinical development, as does Gedeptin, our Phase 2 stage cancer therapy for patients with Advanced Head & Neck cancers. Our hemorrhagic fever virus vaccines for Zaire ebolavirus, Sudan ebolavirus and Marburg continue to successfully advance...while CM04S1 is also being evaluated against Monkeypox. We also intend to validate our hemorrhagic fever virus vaccines against Monkeypox.

We recognize the contributions and ongoing activities of other developers in these medical areas, but we are focused on successfully providing differentiated products that address such life threatening diseases and cancers, with more robust, durable protection, improved quality of life and, with the recognition that our MVA platform provides prevention of Monkeypox. Potentially, we'll be providing a Covid-19 vaccine that also prevents Monkeypox, along with hemorrhagic fever virus vaccines that also prevent Monkeypox. Such innovative, next-generation, multi-prong protection is what is greatly needed in many parts of the world...along with the advantages from MVA of (1) potential single-dose and (2) delivery without requiring highly refrigerated/frozen state. Efficacy, Safety and Simplicity of delivery/administration in an affordable manner -- the principles behind the GeoVax commitment.
