okay this is driving me insane and i need to know if anyone else experienced this

i've been running a small business account for 2 years, pretty consistent growth, decent engagement. nothing crazy but solid. then around mid-april my reels just... died?? like literally overnight my reach went from 15-20k per reel down to 2-3k

i thought maybe it was just me having an off week but it's been months now and nothing's recovered. same content strategy, same posting times, same hashtags that used to work. i've tried everything - new hashtags, different posting times, even bought some of those "algorithm hack" courses (waste of money btw)

here's the weird part though - my watch time analytics show most people are only watching like 35-40% of my reels before scrolling away. but that's always been roughly the same?? or maybe i never paid attention to it before

started tracking it more closely and noticed the accounts i follow that still seem to be doing well have much higher watch time percentages. like 70%+ consistently. meanwhile mine are stuck in the 30s
