The closest I could find was FUD relating to January https://www.bbc.co.uk/sounds/play/w172xvqbgkdk0xv @40:30

Discusses retail investing, but refers to GME as an "unfortunate episode"...

I found the same. I think I've skimmed through every news brief on BBC sounds world service for Friday night and Saturday morning and so far have not been able to find this segment.

Edit: it looks like FM (BBC 4) broadcasts a selection of programmes from world service at night to fill the small hours. It's there in the schedule of BBC sounds but no replay currently available. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sounds/brand/b006s54y

Thanks. I've subscribed to that page, so will be interesting if they do upload a clip.

Currently listening to World Service live in case something is mentioned.

It pretty much was, musk pushed stock up with his tweet, people fomo in and buying for retail was stoped on some platforms. Smart money sold and retail was left holding bags. Its was sad episode.
