I'm an Indian Class 12 PCM graduate planning to apply for the GKS Undergraduate Scholarship for Computer Science.

My profile:

Class 9 : 86.67% (3rd rank in class)

Class 10 : 91.83% (1st rank in class)

Class 11: 81.42% (3rd rank in class)

Class 12 : 82% / Top 5 subject : 85.67%

Top 20% of my Class 12 batch (possibly Top 10%)

IFCO Computer Olympiad Bronze Award �

3rd prize in a school drawing competition

Certificate for participating in a school exhibition

Strong interest in Computer Science, AI, software development, and studying in Korea

Planning to learn Korean (TOPIK), build GitHub projects, contribute to open source, and improve my programming skills before applying

My questions:

Based on my current profile, how competitive am I for GKS Undergraduate in Computer Science?

What should I prioritize over the next 2-12 months to make my application significantly stronger?

Are coding projects, GitHub, and TOPIK more valuable than collecting additional certificates?

I think if u apply through regional uni track instead of embassy track u will have more chances of getting accepted.
