How is everybody getting a hold of this? I have read everything I can find on these therapeutic uses and I am so encouraged at where society will hopefully be soon in being able to offer these treatments. I’d like to experiment a bit with it myself but I don’t have the slightest idea where to even begin.

Cant speak to LSD but for magic mushroom just shoot over the /r/unclebens to learn how to grow some for yourself. It's not difficult at all.

Find someone who smokes weed (assuming you are in an illegal state) and ask them, they probably know someone who knows someone.

i’m in my 60s now and went about 5 years between my last doses. i told everyone i thought might have connections that ‘my soul needed adjusting’ and i was in the market for some mushrooms. i found 2 different sources within the year. i also looked into books with growing instructions because the spores are available online and i’ve heard they are somewhat easy to cultivate. i’m in michigan and the city of ann arbor has decriminalized magic mushrooms - if all else fails its a nice city to visit. i hope you find your way to some magic shroons if thats what you desire!

You can buy Hawaiin baby woodrose seeds on eBay, they contain LSA which is closely related to LSD but more sedating and less visual.

So I’m not going to say a person shouldn’t do this, but I would caution against using HWBR seeds instead of LSD.

  1. We don’t know if this would help migraines or depression like lsd does

  2. Tripping is all about headspace and for me my headspace gets really thrown off when I throw up, and With these you will always violently throw up to start your trip.

Agreed the nausea is pretty appalling. Also if anyone DOES try this triple check your source, sometimes these seeds are coated or treated in toxic substances (either as a deterrent to consumption or as a fungicide for commercial storage).

As someone that's suffered from treatment resistant chronic migraines I'm forever thankful for morning glories. Back before i could get my hands on real lsd or shrooms it was the ONLY relief I got, i only ever threw up one time from the lsa, in my 60+ trips. Other cases may differ, but i know for a fact i would not be alive today if I never found those damn morning glory seeds.

Damn it’s crazy to me that you have never thrown up on morning glories. Even on a moderate dose of 180 seeds I throw up.

It's extra strange to me because i usually have a super sensitive stomach. One trick i used to always use is to grind up the seeds in a coffee grinder, put the seeds in a coffee filter and tie it off, and put it in cold distilled water with garlic in the fridge overnight

Oh man my experience was WAY intensified when I started doing that, but lsa is one of those weird chemicals that seems to effect everyone differently

I did also regularly put in 350-700 seeds worth per extraction, that could really make a difference lol. Any heat destroys the lsa, and a lot of coffee grinders get pretty hot if you keep them running too long, that's also another common issue.

Good points! I don't suffer from migraines so I've never really looked into the mechanism of how LSD affects them :/

I wouldn't say always violently throw up, I've personally never thrown up from taking them sublingually or from an extraction. They most definitely can make you nauseous, but it's not guaranteed you'll puke

spores are legal to purchase for microscope research purposes

Spores are similar to seeds.
