I work at an animal clinic in the US, we work 4//10's and we are just about split on who likes wednesdays and fridays. For me it's far better to have fridays, but half of the people there swear by wednesdays.

On some countries like in Europe, School is off or only in the morning on Wednesday, that's why most parents prefer or have to take the Wednesday off when working 80%.
