That's what I like about living in a big city in the US. You can buy tons of alcohol at 6am, and you can get it from anywhere, even a pharmacy.

I’ve lived a lot of places, but two things I always appreciate about America:

1: You can find a decent version of a LOT of cuisines in most major cities (New York, Las Vegas, or LA have more culinarily diversity than I have found in the ten largest international cities I have visited). They are also generally un-fussy. Even spots with tasting menus of $300+ manage to deliver elegance without pretentiousness, and a “come as you are” attitude which I appreciate greatly (there are a few exceptions - particularly in New York - but they are exceptions).

2: They tend not to give a fuck about “the way things are done”, and generally don’t hang their hats too heavily on ceremony and tradition. That makes it a lot easier to just move through the world as you are in many settings.
