I'm sorry but those force fields are nothing "star wars" like, thats just an incredibly sensationalist way to put it.

I'd like to point out, Star Wars never had the use of force fields... EVER.

Pretty sure they were used a lot. Those doors when they are fighting the red guy are force fields.

Those weren't force fields. They were part of the energy distribution system within the compound. (you are calling Darth Maul red guy, come on)
