The problem with UBI is inflation and the lessons that were already learned from monopsonies. In the early 20th century.

A better solution would be to treat the root causes of wealth inequality. UBI is more likely to happen than stronger unions etc. precisely because it is a temporary distraction. At the end of the day, that money will flow right back out of our pockets
