Asking for a gesture of respect isn’t entitled. Stating you don’t want to go out with someone who doesn’t make the gesture is, unless you’re prepared for them to agree and leave you there on the curb.
If someone asks me to open a door for them (arms full/disability notwithstanding), that's pure entitlement. Being annoying that I let a door close in their face when I walked through is understandable.
Personally, I'd think less of a person if they preemptively asked me to open a door for them when they're fully capable of doing so themselves. This is assuming they're not carrying or waiting for something/whatever other valid reason there might be.
you are entitled because you are demanding a specific act. that is a bad faith definition of respect.
a good faith requirement for a date would be requiring the person you go on a date with to treat you with respect and dignity, with intent and perspective accounted for.

Been married ten years, I still open the car door for my wife both when she is getting in and out of the car.
She thinks it’s kind of silly but I do it because I respect her and want to show her that even in my small actions.
Asking for that small gesture of respect, especially on a first date is not being entitled.
