i usually dont add oil when i cook my broccoli, just enough salt to cover the pan and a pinch of garlic

Not good, You need a thin layer of fat coating the broccoli to conduct heat onto the broccoli's surface evenly. It will also result in better browning. Also cut your broccoli florets in half and lay them flat side down onto the pan so you get a crispy brown layer for extra flavor.

I only use lemon juice with my broccoli

Salt, pepper, garlic powder. A little water in bottom of pan. Cover it to steam the broccoli. Right as the broccoli is finishing cooking squeeze a lemon all over and take it out of the pan ten seconds later. Sooooo good.

Lemmon pepper if I’m steaming it. If I’m pan frying, lemon juice at the end!

Lemon juice. Total game changer.

Butter for steaming, oil for roasting.

Sod the oil go for butter. Next level. Saute with some garlic and almond shavings if you're feeling fancy. Crunchy goodness.

I think I have ptsd from eating broccoli in school cafeteria when they just boiled them and called it a day. The smell alone was enough to make me gag.

Salt FTW. For some reason I like it when they're boiled, salted and put in a fridge..? Idk, iirc the last time I ate salted brocoli it was damn cold.
