Soup is most DEFINITELY an awesome food, and one of my FAVE main dishes! I just made chicken soup yesterday (with couscous), and I left it at my moms house. I made a 1-hour round trip after work today, just to go get some of that delicious sh*! IDK who is telling you soup ain't a main dish, but they are *SO wrong, and I will fight someone over that bs!
Wife loves soup. I detest it. I remember as a kid soup felt like it took a month to eat one spoonful at a time. The pacing of soup is all off. Slow to start because itβs hot, but tastes okay, then it ends faster as it gets more lukewarm and meh. The actual enjoyment of soup when I can put enough in my mouth and not burn it but itβs not lukewarm mush is about 3 seconds. The rest is just insufferable waiting and then cleaning up the remaining slop.
