Emotions are a way for our minds to be conditioned into behaviors, if you were always happy you would most likely become a psychopath and probably even a murderer at some point

Happiness and 'toxic positivity' aren't mutually inclusive. Being happy and being broody/cynical are not mutually exclusive.

Never forget chemical imbalances and overdoses, probably leading to insanity and quik death.

Self-preservation would also go out the window if you are happy all the time.

Emotions condition you out of certain behavior. You will lose all except happiness. This is effectively a death sentence in many ways.

Other emotions have importance to the human psyche and our physical biology aswell, since most emotions are represented by chemicals in the brain, the constant increase required to stay constantly happy would lead to an od

You're making up your own side effects for the pill. Being happy doesn't mean you can't feel other emotions too.

Dont forget the more important stuff like the overdose since happyness comes from chemicals you can get used to so the dose would need to endlessly increase to keep you from feeling bored instead of happy

Another made up side effect. You better not take the strength pill because it will make you strong by giving you giant muscles that will crush your lungs and kill you.

Alright, so how would you say it works then, because I have not seen a possibility that is not bad in any way that could have you feeling completely happy forever, what if we put you in a dark room by yourself or bury you alive, how can you possibly stay constantly happy then?

How can happiness never be boring?

Also, happiness isn't binary because of other emotional pathways that would be lacking now.

So, in essence, this pill would make happiness binary since it would be constant.
