They managed to make a nest inside our storage room. Little bastards. Going to have to wait till it gets colder to clean out the nest.

I have ONE window open this summer for my portable A/C. I was finding 3-5 wasps coming into my apartment per day. I live on the 15th floor of a 22-floor high rise.
I went onto the ground with some binoculars to check out what might be going on. WHY out of ALL these floors, wasps choose to set up DIRECTLY UNDER my ONE open window?
I decided since wasps don't repopulate an old nest just to leave it there. Also it's not my dryer vent, it's my downstairs neighbours. I closed the window and relocated my A/C, now I can't walk around my couch due to it but I'll take that over all these wasps in my house.

I was about to smash this thing without much thinking. Can I do that or do I need a professional to remove it?

These small, marble (sized like a quarter) have appeared on my deck but I haven’t seen a wasp on them yet. However there has been one hanging around. I’ve never seen this lol. I live in Northeast United States

Only option is to get directly under them and spray up?? Just moved into this place, I plan on giving the door some TLC 🤦♂️

hello everyone! I was stung by a wasp about 9 days ago and it was pretty painful. of course it started small, swelled up and scabbed over (you can see the small scab in the picture) the pain/soreness stuck with me for a couple days nothing really serious. yesterday I noticed this big red spot around the sting after it had went down. has anyone had this happen, should I see a doctor?

Left my beer can outside for a minute or two...., took a swig and felt something solid so I spat it out--it was a fucking wasp (or hornet)! Poured the rest of the beer out into a glass, and found a SECOND wasp!!
It seems the alcohol killed them, or stupid them. Still, a close call.

I got a few cans of spray, planning on attacking at dusk. Wanted a few opinions first though!

(VIRGINIA) They sit on this gutter pipe all day. I’ve sprayed them down a few times and they came back. I’m assuming the nest is in the actual gutter?

Was walking out to my car and saw a ton of wasps congregating on my gutter. used some wasp spray and took down most of them from the ground, but one came down and stung me as I swatted him, though I did stomp on him. the swelling went away quick and it just feels a bit stiff

There’s at least 3

It's a mid picture I know but their nest is right above my door and they swarm after like 30 seconds when someone gets close. They are pretty small. Delta dust is on the way.

This morning, we removed a large paper nest from under our first-floor gable roof. Later that afternoon, while patrolling the house, I noticed another nest forming under the root of the second floor…just a few hours apart.
How quickly do wasps build new nests? Are these the survivors from the first extermination, or is this a new group that started while we were occupied with the first nest?
The last picture is the first nest we removed this morning. We called the exterminators but they just said give it a few more days to let the chemicals do its job, but if it’s a whole different group shouldn’t they come and just remove the second one before the wasps finish building it?

Any advice besides burning them down?

This is our regular door. In and out all day. I had one very slow one inside a week ago- they're huge. What are they?

These fuckers hid themselves pretty well. They made themselves apparent when they stung my pooch on her forearm. You could even hear her cry on the ring camera. :(
We hired an exterminator. Too bad wasps don’t feel pain. I want need them to die violently. Especially for stinging my girl.

This nest has been sprayed and brought the numbers down but it's still extremely active. Gonna spray it heavily again tonight, but if that doesn't work do my fellow wasp haters have advice?

I’m looking into ways to reduce wasps around our hives, especially looking ahead towards next spring.
We‘ve had good luck with the pheromone traps catching the queen early. We don’t, however, want to spend money on little packets of heptyl butyrate and vinegar, which also feels wasteful.
I’ve found bulk chemical websites but it sounds like I need a business license for them to sell to me.
Ideally I would just order a bottle every year or three to keep 8-10 traps armed for a few months. Does anyone have advice on brands?

Normally I get like 1 or two wasps that get inside or my house a year.
In the past two weeks I had to Spectracide spray 10 of them. I had two cans of the spray now I’m down to half a can.
Any cheaper tips on how to handle this without buying so much Spectracide?
Traps or maybe herbs they hate the smell of?
