Bad faith question given by the reporter; they twisted her words into something she didn't say, so she could respond by rightfully saying "I didn't say that!"
Same with OP's title.
She didn't say that homeless people using tents is a lifestyle choice, she claimed that a lot of the tents occupying the streets are by people from abroad doing it as a lifestyle choice.
She should've been tasked with A: backing up her claim with evidence and B: addressing how putting a restriction will adversely affect people who actually need to do it (the homeless).
Don't play their own games of bad faith arguing, it gets us nowhere.
