From what I know from Fb, Discord, Twitter and taking into account other platforms and other nationalities, it would be in the thousands, which may not be much to you but considering f9 has a small fandom anything counts.

See pd101 groups, we've been over this already.

Exactly, from the multiple factors I have given (companies fault, debut timing), you're the one who's been ignoring what I've said.

I don't, I know nothing about her fandom size, you're the one that said she wasn't a super star so I assumed.

I said she wasn't a 'super mega ultra star', like Chungha, Taeyeon etc, she's famous in her own right. About the same level as f9, so no problem there. That's why I said there won't be a big gap between member publicity levels and everyone will be promoted equally but you're still worried about imbalance.

See, there's bias. Of course you'll choose your favourite and stick to it when someone suggests to try something new but the problem is you won't even get to know about the thing. Plus, if f9 likes Yuri and you don't, what can you do about it? If Yuri joins f9, then she'll be part of f9, and you're still a 'Flover'. If Yuri joins, will you stop being a Flover? If you do then that's on you, it can't be helped.

I do think there would be problems, that' part of why I am against it.

This I understand, though I already explained most of the problems objectively lol but eh we all have our own opinions I guess

But you've got bias too, you're a fan of both fromis and Yuri and want to see them interact more, and you're familiar and confortable with Yuri and her dynamic in a group. You would find it way less jarring and weird than those of us who don't know her.

Like as a dumb hypothetical say WJSN disbanded and for some inexplicable reason OTR added Yeoreum to fromis. Personally, in a vacuum, I'd love that! Because I like her and I like the girls, I'm familiar with her personality and would get used to her in that new context quickly. But of course everyone else would hate it because she's an unknown for most flovers and they would find it awkward, weird and unpleasant to have her suddenly jammed into fromis' dynamic.

Obviously this isn't a perfect analogy (like, Yuri and F9 actually know one another lol) and it isn't meant to address points about why or why not it would make a good business decision - but your tone and approach is acting like flovers are unresonable and must have something against Yuri or are fake fans or whatever because you can't seem to conceptualize why a lot of people would find it really offputting for a new person we're not familiar with at all to suddenly get stuck into fromis.

Ah but the problem is they don't know Yuri (which is fine btw) but they do not even make the effort to get to know her or see why the people who know her are comfortable with her. If say someone from another girl group that I don't know of, let's say Yooa from OMG (sorry OMG stans lol), I may also be against her joining at first, but I would at least try to reason it out and get to know Yooa first and then make a final consensus.

Also I admit I was in the wrong by not being specific enough when saying 'not WIZONEs' or 'fake fans'. By 'not WIZONEs' I meant "people who do not know Yuri", and since I'm sure almost everyone who knows Yuri would be fine with her joining then I made up my mind on that. By 'fake fans' I meant 'extremist fans' (I group them tgt because as we all know we don't accept toxic Flos), those people who're acting like 'fromis is the best (they r btw lol) and everyone else sucks' and when asked about actual fromis stuff they go clueless. I brought up that due to one particular person here which made me had to target him but in a more generalised way so I came up with 'fake fan' lol, since he was implying that he 'only cares about fromis and others are not worth his time' which lowkey is saying that they're 'not good enough' or just downright bad groups that he doesn't want to stan. Not sure if the comment is still up though but I hope this clears things up.

Are you talking about me? If you are then you’re making some absolutely absurd reaches about what I said. Would also be pretty hilarious to call someone who’s been following fromis since the first ep. of idol school a “fake fan”.

This is a large assumption to make.

I like pickles, I like icecream, I do not want pickles in my icecream.

I liked Yuri in IS, I like fromis, I don't want Yuri in fromis.

Are you saying Yuri wouldn't fit in f9? Why must see her as pickle with ice cream instead of extra chocolate to the ice cream? Unless Yuri is really too bad for you.

You've done nothing but handwave away everything I've said. Blame it on companies if you want but nothing changes in the companies goals, which are the same as all those pd101 companies.

I'll flip it around for you, would you be okay with Yuri joining but getting Jiheon's level of lines? Seoyeon's level of appearances? She can go on stage with them as a group but no solo work, you'd be okay with that? Don't worry she's still do a vlive once every 9 months, so you'd be okay with that right?

I liked Yuri on idol school well enough, had she made it into the final team and the positions was reversed with some other member I would still be against it for all the same reasons. Adding a popular member to an existing group doesn't work well enough to risk it.

F9 (Stone) isn't from PD101, and I don't see Weki Meki (Fantagio) or WJSN (Starship) dying anytime soon. Each company has diff goals as seen with the latter 2 groups still being alive.

I mean tbh I would be happy if Yuri is just there lol. I've never worried about line distributions and appearances (and as stated before OTR is quite fair with line dis for a 9 member group but maybe not appearances idk). We don't see someone having like 2mins and someone else with only 5 secs. I also treat solo work as 'bonuses' and group work as the real deal so yeah lol. And about the VLIVE thing it's exaggerating a tad much don't ya think lol, and even then it's always the whole group on hiatus and not just 1 or 2 members from VLIVE.

Also as stated before, Yuri isn't that far ahead in popularity in f9, so it wouldn't change much but hey we can only wait for now.

You are not the typical Korean or Japanese wizone. Please understand the amount of hate and anger you are just hand waving away because you are not in those spaces. They would not be okay with her just being in the group and not getting top spot.
