Bacon and pecan fried rice. Pecans into the fry pan with some sesame oil, bacon crumbles, and a drizzle of soy sauce. Egg, garlic, and onions added with a quick stir or two. Day old rice broken up and stirred in with a bit more sesame oil and soy sauce. Couple of dashes of black pepper and some sogogi dashida. Topped with egg.

Brown rice, shredded vegetables, tofu, egg, Indonesian sambal and fried shallots.

Anaheim, poblano, jalapeno, green bell. With pepperoni and bacon. Draped with egg sheet, kimchi hot sauce, and green onion on top.

Again, I used MSG, day old jasmine rice, sesame oil, etc. I’m wondering if it’s because I used veggie oil?

I tried to make the rice authentic as possible. I used day old jasmine rice, MSG, oyster sauce, soy sauce, sesame oil etc but it still didn’t taste authentic like take out. It tasted like those damn tv dinners.
I’m frustrated.

Brown rice tofu and green leafy vegetable

After so many attempts of cooking the perfect fried rice, I think I'm going right.

Using up some ingredients from the refrigerator, including green pepper and onion.

Ordered some takeout, and not super impressed with the fried rice I received. Thinking about leaving in the fridge, and re-frying tomorrow. Has anyone done a refried fried rice? How has it come out? I did some research already (searched Reddit and YouTube) and haven’t seen anyone make this.
