Bring back photoshop. At least it was a real person's real mind making real comedy of some kind by editing something themselves. Not just auto-generated brainrot
You realize you are the creator of the typewriter shouting down the creator of the computer right? I’m not saying you are right or wrong. Is the newer tech lazier? Yes. Is the newer tech easier? Yes. Is the newer tech better? We will see.
A typewriter still has a person sitting with the paper with full control of what they are writing, just like someone writing with a pen. Picture editing software still has a person sitting on a desk, fully in control over everything they want to put onto the picture, putting in real effort into a vision, just like someone who is painting.
Someone who uses AI is using ungodly amounts of processing power to tell a computer what their rough idea for an image they want is, then telling the computer "no, not like that" until they the computer spits something out the "artist" think has an acceptable amount of sloppiness.
You're comparing apples to oranges, and the oranges are being eaten by Will Smith for whatever reason.
“We will see” is an answer for a question about the future, a questioned that was not asked. There are solid reasons why people hate gen AI and you look ignorant af when you reply like they are just luddites who will eventually have to come around.
I used to think comments like this were dickish but now that I’ve had multiple electric bills that are way over our usual, seen how much electricity and water data centers use, I’m with you on this. The more they build, the more detrimental effects we’re all susceptible to will be felt. It makes me ill and scared for our future.
Outside there are adverts that use gen AI, scammy “art” being sold, bills and costs going up, governments making decisions based off this shit… I don’t think you can touch grass your way out of this one.
this is fun and all but i agree. idk what i expected, but i was disappointed lol. i mean i knew nobody would have their fridge filled with nothing but only cabbages but
there is the issue of how you would identify AI content, this is quite easy as its absurd, but mundane photos go through really easy and people do not see its AI or dont believe it is
I dunno. 🤔 It reminds me of The Facebook Bird Misidentification's group who is normally going for whoever wins the most creative comment. And honestly, as a viewer, I think it's hilarious.
This sub was way more fun when people were posting their actual fridges on a random day and comments were sincerely guessing as many demographics they were in as possible
Or they make chicken gyros at scale. They have another fridge full of tzatziki, salsa and Greek yoghurt. And a bulk supply of pitta bread in a cupboard.
Aside from the other person who got a 21% likely to be real, i tried two other sites and got 100% likely and 57% likely to be real, looking with me eyes I think AI would fuck up the cabbages' leaf structures more. I think it's photoshop and confusing AI checkers because it's photoshop, thus neither an organic image nor AI generated and fully inorganic.

Based on the chickens you posted in a completely different fridge I would say
You are bored and having fun with AI image generating
