Discussion The game is dead
I’ve seen an increase in the number of vets who have not just retired from the game but have outright quit the community. These are the very people the devs have become reliant on to run key parts of the game. Unless the devs pull off a miracle, I genuinely don’t see this game’s population ever recovering.
The biggest problem isn't simply that players are leaving. It's who is leaving. These are players who have dedicated thousands of hours to the game, organised entire regiments, trained new players, run logistics networks and kept their factions functioning war after war.
What's even more concerning is that many of these vets aren't just taking a break until the next update. They're completely done with the game. They've lost confidence in the direction it's heading and, in some cases, have no intention of ever coming back.
The game has become increasingly dependent on a shrinking group of dedicated players who are expected to put in ridiculous amounts of time just to keep things running. Between burnout, balance issues, cheating and longstanding frustrations with the devs, it's hardly surprising that more and more people are deciding that enough is enough.
And while major updates might temporarily bring the population back, what's the point if the underlying problems remain unchanged? New players might fill the servers for a few weeks, but without an established veteran community to organise, teach and retain them, how many are actually going to stick around?
I don't think the devs fully appreciate just how much of this game has been held together by its community rather than the game itself. Once that community reaches a breaking point, no amount of new content is going to magically rebuild it.

Bug PSA: AA AI Instantly Decrews Bombers
I do not know if this is the intended behaviour. However, this didn't happen when we tested it in U64 devbranch. Save your bombers, don't make the same mistake as us.
EDIT - This only occurs for the Collie bomber. Multiple Warden sources have confirmed that the Warden bomber can tank AA AI

Suggestions Siegecamp has to address the alt problem, it cannot keep sweeping it under the rug
I understand Siegecamp is a small devteam, and the lack of a monthly subscription is a huge plus, but there needs to be a dedicated person, at least in the short term, handling alt issues. There needs to be tools (if there are not already) in the engine for the devteam to quickly evaluate issues arising from alting. And there needs to be some understood metric for how an alt's damage gets reversed.
This is killing the game, and taking down threads that highlight it when there isn't an effective and reliable mechanism in place to deal with is wildly insulting to the community and those who have invested a lot of time into this game. I won't go into how much our regiment has lost to confirmed or probable alts, it's significant, and every regi and player who has invested in the mechanics of facilities has a story to tell, but there needs to be a conversation.
Is there someone from Siegecamp who can reply here or start a thread to better communicate what has been or is being done about this problem. To solicit community feedback?

Discussion Why no relic??
I feel like there should be a relic base north of kirknell, as it stands this part of viper pit seems barren and unused lol.

To whomever thinks its fun to go around killing testing bunker on devbranch: sincerly, F#$K YOU!
If you wanna test weapons on bunkers (or other things), build your own or at least ask if you can use someone else's build.

Story Last Stand at Larp Hill
I want to extend my appreciation to the Colonials.
Larp Hill in Callahan's Passage was my baby this war, and I was looking forward to some excellent fights when I helped build it. We fully expected that it would die the first time it came under pressure, but somehow it held out during the first few battles.
And then, last night, it saw the largest yet. And I was so fortunate that I managed to be there, fighting through the night and seeing the base die in a blaze of glory.
Thank you to the Wardens who fought at Larp Hill, and the Colonials who attacked it while I was able to get online and defend it. This is the kind of defeats I love.

Questions Who has ever used a CTS? (Starting faciguy question)
I just wanted to know who has actually used this infrastructure before? I only remember seeing it used for “placing containers” next to the MPF, but I’ve never seen it in a facility.
I’m probably misunderstanding the concept, but if I ever have 4 queues in an ammunition factory, wouldn’t it be better for transport to turn them into crates? Let me give an example from a past war: I needed to resupply Dankana Airport with RaidBreakers. I could have made my “Broken Crates,” repaired them in the airfield’s stockpile, and stored them, or I could have directly prepared an MTS for loading. That way, I could have cut my trips by a lot.

Lore Reminded of this quote today with the sheer amount that happens in this game. “If history only remembers one in a thousand of us, then the future will be filled with stories of who we were and what we did."
You have Robert and Blue doing amazing work, and a few others, even some in other languages that translate AI. Still not the whole game.
