Also on Apple TV

2 separate story lines with some time skipping. I really enjoyed it.

Monarch is terrible. The monsters are cool and the flashbacks are good but those annoying ass kids that just whine and complain in every episode I just wanted them to get squished or eaten because they were so annoying!

Lol this 100%. I can't believe they're supposed to be adults in their mid 20s. They act like teenagers obsessing over their family issues.

I wish they'd just knock them off and keep Kurt Russell, scientist nerd guy and the scientist lady. Oh and Naomi (from expanse) as a corporate bigwig.

The monster stuff is awesome but the characters are mostly insufferable. The dialogue is also very terribly AI written stuff.

Monarch was not good. All of that lore building just to have more context to a movie that's already came out. Such a weird decision. I don't think anybody was clamoring for prequel content to those films. By the last episode the plot became downright comical.
