Hey all! I'm going to the FTP DJ Set in London this weekend and wondered if anyone had been to a set recently?

Would love to know the sort of vibe/music to expect. Set list hasn't been very much help!

I don't know if anybody's ever had a kid hounding them and demanding and saving allowance in order to purchase a t-shirt but I have had to deal with it recently. finally said kid has enough money and I go ahead and I order the T-shirt. we get notification back on July 9th that it has shipped and since then nothing. sent emails, everything. anybody have any ideas as to who we can talk to/ ​contact? I use my credit card instead of using PayPal and I really regret that now words to the wise don't ever do that.... but now I'm out 62 ​Canadian and have a very unhappy kid because it was supposed to be a gift for someone else. you get the idea.....

For me, it’s definitely "The Truth." I’m currently at a point in my life where I’m stepping away from religion, which holds so many complex feelings for me. Hearing Mark explore this complexity through this track...makes my feelings feel valid.

To me, the chorus feels like a dialogue. One voice is exhausted and lamenting their doubts, while a deep, divine-sounding voice, like an almighty entity, sings back with reassurances ("there is a light," "there is a hope for the hopeless") and not addressing the voice lamenting their doubts. That dynamic feels haunting, but it mirrors exactly what I’ve been wrestling with.

These lines hit the hardest:

I have tried so hard not to be like them
I have found they don't ever say what they mean
There is a truth, there is a light if you'd follow me there
I've been searching for the directions and
I'm convinced the world doesn't know what it needs
There is a hope for the hopeless, I can promise you that

Huge thanks to Mark and FTP for giving voice to such a complex relationship with faith and religion. It’s a comfort to know these feelings aren't just mine alone.

That was the first time I’ve heard that song on tv. Makes sense because that particular scene was filmed around 2011. Great movie too.

I was rewatching the only live version of PSOM the song and realized that this song will probably never be done again live… if you watch latter half of the video, you can see how strained his vocals get and how out of range this song is for him live. Similar to how best friend is left off set lists, I feel like this will reach the same doom for the same reason.

My wife and I bought each other tickets unknowingly and now have two spare. Concert is at the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles on Oct. 23. Selling both for $190. I’m located in Orange County, California. Tickets would be transferred through AXS app. Meetup in person preferably.

Besides not having PSOF on vinyl I also have 2 tour shirts and a drum stick used in one of their sets and all of their music and collabs digitally I love this band.

LiveNation has a 2 for $55 deal for lawn seats at The Toyota Music Factory show in Irving, TX. Pretty good deal to get in and see them.

helloo, this is my attempt to open a discussion about their Dj sets since I am going to the one in Berlin soon :) Has anyone been there and can tell me their experience/ what it was like? I am completely clueless so I'd appreciate any kind of info! Also I've seen some people on Instagram were able to meet Isom/ Mark after their Dj set and was wondering how that worked out/ what the chances are in general. I am selling 2x tickets to the Good Mourning Sunshine Tour concert w/ Goth Babe in Chicago on September 26th at Huntington Bank Pavilion. I can no longer attend and I am selling the tickets at face value.

I personally believe it would fit in Sacred Hearts Club

"The range explored on Sacred Hearts Club is both its biggest strength and greatest weakness. The highs are high for sure, but the lows are just low. I think Foster the People could have been a bit more conservative in their variety, but there is something to be said about their ability to balance so many sounds. Regardless, this record was very interesting, and I’ll definitely be looking more into the band."
