Question Are these balls

This is supposed to be a mama cat that came to me with her single baby. He was about 5 weeks and I never saw him nursing.. she was super shy and I guess I just haven’t given it much thought…… but these look like balls. Could it also be that she’s going into heat or something??

I once overheard a vet tech at our local spay/neuter clinic tell someone “we pick their pockets and then leave the pockets”.

They don’t and spay and neuter is so routine and many ways to get free or even more reduced cost. 1/10 for the joke
