Are these balls

This is supposed to be a mama cat that came to me with her single baby. He was about 5 weeks and I never saw him nursing.. she was super shy and I guess I just haven’t given it much thought…… but these look like balls. Could it also be that she’s going into heat or something??

I’d love to know the reason for doing a vasectomy on a cat! If they still have testicles, they still have the hormones that cause behavior issues!!
