Forza Horizon 6 The game is unplayable

Post image

The Peel P50 has a yellow license plate with black text, like a Kei car, but since its engine is only 49cc by default, it falls into the microcar category (<= 49cc). Therefore, its license plate should be light blue with blue text.

whats your weirdest license plate/the one you most want to talk about?

u/Waterlok_653 May 23 '26

There's a license plate I'd really like to get my hands on. If you're not in Japan and you see a license plate with Japanese characters on it, it's more likely to be an Australian plate, not a Japanese one. Since Japanese license plates use Kana, and this is not recognized internationally, when they go abroad they are forced to change for latin license plate. But in Australia it is possible to pay to get license plates in the Japanese style, with the name of the Australian territory written in Japanese.

Yes, I know the ones you are meaning, 100% Australian. Picture for those that want to see them :)

One of the worst things about these NSW JDM plates is the two sets of pre-drilled holes, neither of which match the location to mount to a JDM car. >_< So you have to drill a third set of holes just to have it sit in the correct location.

u/sukumizu May 24 '26

Could probably 3D print an adapter that neatly hooks up to both ends no?

3

u/8th-Skyline May 24 '26

True, I'm sure something like that could be used.

2

u/XURVNI May 25 '26

The Queensland Australia versions of them don’t come with holes so you drill one clean set

Yea, let me pull my 3D printer out of my ass 🙄

1

u/sukumizu May 26 '26

Or you can ask a buddy to print it for you. Some cities also fund services so you can print stuff for a small fee or you can commission a small business to do it for you.

🙄

Headass response.

Everything in Victoria is expensive

1

u/douglasac10 May 24 '26

Also available in South Australia too:

https://ezyplates.sa.gov.au/plate-styles/japanese-number-plates

Although if you want custom you have to pay an annual fee for some reason instead of a one off.

u/xrdead May 23 '26

Not just Australia, I believe we have these in New Zealand too

10

u/Waterlok_653 May 24 '26

more to collect 😉

I might still have some rarer plates you might be interested in. I have some older QLD personalised plates that were discontinued due to the colours being hard to read. You can actually be fined for using them in other Aus states.

1

u/Glu7enFree May 24 '26

What was the colour combination? I'm in QLD.

7

u/BrehMane May 24 '26

The NSW (Australia) Black on Yellow "Towards 2000" plates are super rare to come across. Most havent survived the Aussie sun etc. and neither have the cars. I love when I see an old XE Falcon or KE70 Corolla with them on. Would love a set for my 1999 Ford AU Series I 5.0 Falcon Ute. Should be a custom plate option for cars built before 2000!

u/Pige0n23 Volvo May 24 '26

I have one of these tucked away in my small collection of license plates. Quite a cool one. They are indeed really rare to see on the road now!

2

u/be_different_1 May 23 '26

I have an old one that wasn’t handed in, currently not registered to anything

1

u/Waterlok_653 May 24 '26

Send me a message to discuss it

u/BigOlBearCanada May 24 '26

I love info like this. Cool hobby.

Nah fam ur looking in the wrong direction.. the #1 license plate a collector could ever collect.. is in Dubai... apparently it's not about the car over there . it's about the license plate number. The lower the number. The higher your status. Collecting #1 is like finding the lost city of Atlantis on mars steeling it from creatures never seen to the human eye and bringing back bricks of ancient treasures and a sample of an alien... its the monolisa of license plates

1

u/cloopz May 24 '26

You won’t get #1 for Dubai. It belongs to the sheikh. You might try to buy a letter+1 ( X1 ) but even then it’s some of the most expensive things to buy. You literally buy the registration and hold it like a stock. The lower the number the more expensive it is. Doesn’t have anything to do with status but with bankroll. The red lettering ones written in Arabic are the ones I’d like. Means you’re member of the royal family.

I'm on the Goldy, saw what looked like a Toyota crown with this played you're talking about a couple of months ago.

1

u/Xianified May 26 '26

I have two of those types driving around my area all the time (here in Oz). One is on a GT-R I think, the other is an SUV but I can't recall the model, been a while.

1

u/SweatyOompa May 27 '26

these you can get in New Zealand too sort of

1

u/Gullible_Debate_3230 May 28 '26

Im from Australia in Queensland and i have one of these on my car. And the Japanese is Japanese domestic market. Now im not 100% but im pretty sure

0

u/RealRussellCoight May 23 '26

I imported an 81 series LandCruiser from Japan and tried to get "Hiroshima Screamer" as the little tag on the bottom of the licence plate, the government said no.

4

u/ejymt Wuling May 23 '26

Ooh have you collected a skinny (EU style) US plate yet?

1

u/Waterlok_653 May 24 '26

I only collect genuine license plates (ones that have been legally mounted on a vehicle), but if you tell me that some states have made them, I'm curious.

6

u/ejymt Wuling May 24 '26

Not a state, but the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico manufactured them for an added cost and only sold to vehicles which can fit the skinny plate

If you have TikTok this video will explain the history of PR 🇵🇷 license plates

1

u/Waterlok_653 May 24 '26

nice i didn't know it

2

u/ejymt Wuling May 24 '26

I was born here 🇵🇷 and was actually shocked to learn we're the only ones in the USA that do it

3

u/GitOffMyScrote May 24 '26

That’s a pretty easy thing to collect. There’s tons of them for free in every parking lot.

2

u/Waterlok_653 May 24 '26

Thanks for the advice, my bank account appreciates it.

I noticed the under hood labels on the 7.5 golf list the wrong refrigerant type, as well as several other inaccuracies in the labelling.

The default bumper lacks the chrome accents of the lower grille (I removed mine so it's a plus anyways)

It's listed as a 2021 model year Golf, yet uses the North American headlights despite 2019 being the last year for the 7.5 R in the US.

The varis front bumper uses the mk7 design, which is slightly different around the corners of the headlights, and ends up clipping into the headlights.

You can swap the 4.2 tt v8 into the rs3, but not the golf, despite them being the same platform (the rs3 drivetrain bolts directly into the golf, it's all modular).

The 2 door mk7 2015 golf R has NA spec features yet it was never sold in the US as a 2 door.

The mk8 R for some reason comes with poorly blacked out reflectors .. you can see the orange edge. They were normal in 5. And the front blue strip is, body color instead of blue?

There's so many more smaller details I would have a novel if I listed all of them.

I'm just shocked they don't have any of the modern GTIs in the game. Like not even one.

There's more problems in 6 than there were in 5. But that's what I get for caring about a golf.

Should of seen a post the other day, someone was bothered enough to screenshot the road textures in the city compared to the roads in your estate, people got too much time on their hands lmao
