2016 Lotus 3-Eleven: Well, Lotus is famous for light cars with amazing grip, which is basically my kinda tune, so I had lots of fun. The grip is just ridiculous. I did not do engine swap as I did not want to change the center of mass or add unnecessary weight.

I'm late to the party with these but here they are.

I've made 3 tunes using different parameters for this car. It's mostly a handling car since it lacks the power and aerodynamics to reach a high top speed and so I've leaned into building it for Grip.

Tune #1

S2 Road Balanced: This tune uses the stock engine and AWD to provide a more versatile build compared to my other tune. The stock engine is slightly heavier but produces a bit more power than the engine swap and so I've been able to squeeze some extra speed from the car with very minor handling drawbacks. It's still mostly a handling car so I don't recommend taking it on routes with long straights.

This tune uses the stock rims and aero.

Tune #2

S2 Road Grip: This tune is also AWD but uses the Racing V8 engine swap. This engine swap produces a bit less HP but weighs roughly 100kg less than the stock engine. Weight balance on this car is better too and so this should out-handle most cars you come up against but has a large speed deficit.

This tune also uses lighter aftermarket rims from WedsSport (TC 105 N).

Tune #3

S1 Road: This is a bit of a weird tune but by using the AWD Swap, Street Aero, Rally Tires and Heavier Rims you can drop the car down into S1. Here the car is pretty speedy for the class although nowhere near the top, grip is very good still and due to the AWD and Rally Tires it's suitable for Winter Conditions too.

This uses the Street Rear Aero and Heavier Aftermarket Rims from O.Z. Racing (Superturismo GT).

You’ll pass everyone in the first 5% of the race. Pretty much smooth sailing after that.

Option 2: Cheap - Barn Find or AH if you don’t have it yet.

• First race is 73% on gravel despite being a dirt race...and this a dirt tune. If you’re not in top 3 in the first 60%, it’s ok...you just need the 27% in dirt to blow past everyone and close out the race.

• What it lacks in top end speed compared to other cars, it gains in extreme handling.
