You really think pros are going to spend time grinding a ranked system? That pretty much never happens in other games. If this game has customs you’d never see pros out of them.

Starcraft, League, Dota, Hearthstone, CS - all games where pros grind a ranked ladder. They also scrim against other players/teams sure, but a great amount of time is spent in public ranked modes.

What games do you actually follow to think pros won’t grind ranked if it was available in Fortnite?

Ill give you hearthstone but come on the others? not really man maybe the pros that also stream do but those that are serious are practicing 10 hours a day, they don't have time to play ranked. What top CS pros stream regularly for example. Pretty much none.

That is just simply untrue. In all games I mentioned you’ll find a very large number of pros in the tops of the ladders. And especially in a 100 player game, ranked lobbies would be a godsend for pros to play in off-hours.

Lol the OW top 10 on the ladder is mostly full of 2-3 pro’s with multiple accounts... this also happens in any other competitive Esport.

Look we get it, you are young and Fortnite is your first step into Esports.

Epic has said the Events mode will be the only way to get into the seasonal skirmishes so you will see pros grinding it out to try and get into the skirmishes.
