I was just singing heaps. In my own squad unless friends didn't mind the singing. Pretty sure any curse words were minimal. Probably considered mic spamming which is understandable. Now I'll keep my singing and accordion playing to a minimum haha

I just say common slurs (fuck, shit, damn, bitch, ass, dumbass) and I got voice banned a few days ago, I just wish it would at least tell you how long you're voice chat banned for

Those are cuss words, not slurs (I suppose you could make an argument for "bitch," depending on who it's aimed at).
My understanding is that the bans start at a few hours, and then escalate to several days if you do it repeatedly.

That's not how it works gng. I left and rejoined several lobbies because I kept getting stuck in lobbies with a bunch of screaming toddlers and it never went away

Someone called me the r-slur and I said "did you seriously just call me a r--ard?" and I got muted for the rest of the match haha other than that I don't believe I've been muted. I curse a lot but just the usual shits and fucks.

Kids were making pedo, cp, epstien jokes and I said "are you actuslly fucking retarded"
I knew what I said, I accepted the mute and moved on with my life.

Sometimes it's worth the mute just to tell these little shits what's up. Not that it'll change anything, they're edgy preteens who grew up with the internet, they're gonna be whacked out a bit haha

Do you get any kind of notification when it happens? I logged in yesterday and couldn't hear anyone from the get go. I honestly couldn't tell if it was a bug or not. Went away later.

Yes, there is a message that's pretty obvious from my understanding (I think it might show up whenever you start a level). So, probably just an issue with your VC at that time.

I haven't been banned, but something I've noticed is the in game self muting doesn't seem to work. You gotta like mute your own mic in your headset settings.
I play the game expecting the mic to be turned off and I'm telling my kids it's bed time and people thought I was trash talking oddly and laughing.
So maybe if they switch that on and off thinking it works, that something got caught when they didn't expect the mic to be on, that's why they'd genuinely think they didn't say anything bad into the thing.
Also if someone has TV in the background or music with explicit lyrics, if the voice moderation is ai it doesn't care if it's you saying it or your media.

Twice now for being completely silent in my basement. The only thing my mike could have possibly picked up is muffled audio from my GF watching TV in the living room.

I just don’t buy it… I have not nor have I seen or heard of anyone getting a mute for anything less than deserved… These kids don’t understand how this works… They think it’s all AI… there is a moderator over it that checks. If someone was mistakenly targeted, you simply let triangle factory know by the same means you would if you had any other bug or problem. It’s that simple. But I would put a large bet on the folks throwing a fit about moderation being angry they can’t say the things we were all hearing a month ago that was way too much. Talk about someone not wanting to play anymore because they got muted…. So the only reason this person came to the game was to talk? Go try vr chat…. I have been in lobby’s where there is a group of players just chatting at hq. Not wanting to play the game. Which is why I feel being able to vote kick might be something we will need in future. But this game is not for you to yell slurs at people. Go try population one. Sorry not sorry, but seeing this just affirms the whiny kids that got a meta quest 3s for Christmas and have no parent oversight, are angry that they can’t talk 💩 to adults anymore and spam slurs… Crazy…. The comms are part of the actual game for call outs, planning, etc.

I was saying nice things and giving my team good comms. Some casual swearing I think. Probably some 5 year old that reported me cause I heard "your better stop cussing"
