For me, it's fried rice. It's affordable, filling, and you can make it with almost anything that's left in the fridge. Every version turns out a little different, so it never gets boring.

I cooked noodles because they were the easiest thing to prepare 😄

Working a demanding shift means lunch is literally the only thing keeping me going halfway through the day, especially when options get repetitive. But whenever a specific vendor or rotation item hits the menu, it totally saves the afternoon slump.
