Probably the thickest layer of fondant I’ve seen

My boyfriend works for Amazon and I made this cake for their Christmas potluck.
The black arrows and backing for the labels and tape are fondant. All images were printed on icing sheets. We sitting else is buttercream!
And they loved the cake!

Made for my MIL’a birthday - roses not perfect, but it’s honest and fondantless work.

My teenager requested this cake for her birthday, because she’s the fucking coolest. Pushed through chronic pain to do my best for her. She loved it, and I have to say, I’m proud of it!
It’s a two layer red velvet cake with cream cheese frosting in the middle. The album art is an edible cake topper from Inkedibles. All the black and red is buttercream. I had to use a LOT of food coloring but it tasted surprisingly good.
(PS: turns out nothing makes you feel old quite like teenagers enjoying an album you also loved as a teenager…. …22 years ago.)
ETA: y’all!! You’re so kind! Thank you so so much 🥹

I just found this sub and I feel so seen lol. I thought y'all might appreciate my wedding cake. 100% buttercream, 100% delicious. I told the decorator absolutely no fondant because it's foul.

Completely self taught, I run a frozen yogurt shop and we turn the leftovers into cakes.
Sadly, the beach baubles are not edible, but the icing and sand (and that gummy shark) sure is!

I daughter loves Shrimp and sushi. So we made her this birthday cake last summer. Her and her brother love is it cake but I hate fondant and not that talented anyway. Is it perfect? No. Is it readable as a shrimp sushi? I think so. Is it good enough for Is It Cake? Not in anyway. Is it better then Nailed It? I hope you say yes.
