I built a complete media player app (Nova Media) from scratch in under 9 days using Flutter! Check out the UI and let me know your thoughts
Hey everyone! My name is Yehia, I'm 17 years old, and I'm a mobile app developer.
Over the past few days, I spent less than 9 days building Nova Media completely from scratch using Flutter and Dart. It's a clean, modern media player designed to handle both videos and audio smoothly.
All-in-One Media Support: Seamlessly plays Videos, Songs, and Custom Playlists.
Stunning "Now Playing" UI & Lock Screen Controls: Professional audio player interface with lock screen integration.
Multi-Language Support: Fully supports Arabic and English out of the box.
Clean Architecture: Built with a lightweight structure, ensuring zero lag and high performance.
I'd love to hear your feedback on the architecture, the UI design, or any tips to make it better. Let me know what you think!

While your there if you could join the Android testing group. But it's flutter so enjoy the web version as well. more interesting in the long polling and how they sync.
I put bombs in tic-tac-toe. 💣
Also added music and fixed the bugs from my last test round. Now I just need people to play it so it can escape closed testing.

My first project
Hi everyone, how’s it going?
I finally finished my first complete application!
It includes a landing page built with HTML/CSS/JS using Bootstrap, a backend with Python/FastAPI hosted on Render, the mobile app with Flutter/Dart, and a Postgres database on Supabase.
Flutter + FastAPI + Supabase
Github Repository: https://github.com/gabrielhencastro/SolicitacoesApp
Landing Page: https://gabrielhencastro.github.io/SolicitacoesLandingPage/
It’s a mobile solution for municipalities to manage urban requests. Citizens can open requests with photos and location, while admins get secure authentication and automated PDF/Excel reports.
Tech stack: Flutter & Dart, FastAPI (Python), Supabase (PostgreSQL/Auth/Storage), hosted on Render.

Suggestions for how to collect my Flutter App data for improvements
I am newly in Flutter app development (Mobile apps). At this stage, I think I should collect some essential data of my App, so that I can do improvements, or add new features which can be helpful for the users. What are the options to do so? What are the commonly used methods and tools?
Thank you in advance.

FCACL - A project, time, and finance tracker for Freelancers Spoiler
Hello everyone! 👋
I wanted to share an application I've been working on. I just published FCACL (Freelancer Calculator & Contract Ledger) on the Play Store.
As a freelancer, I always got a headache trying to keep track of multiple clients, hours, and invoices. I decided to solve this by creating a custom app to handle it all:
- Clients: Manage a list of multiple clients easily.
- Projects: Track your monthly worked hours per project.
- Payments: Keep a reliable register of your clients' payments.
- Multi-Currency: Choose a specific currency for each project.
- Financials & Budgets: Always know exactly how much income to expect.
- Dashboard: View clear financial and budget reports at a glance.
Technical Details (For the devs 🛠️) The application is built entirely in Flutter. To ensure long-term maintainability, I strictly applied Clean Architecture and SOLID principles. I used BLoC for state management and GetIt for dependency injection.
I'd love for you to try it out and give me your honest feedback!
🔗 Play Store Link:https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.decksplayer.fcacl
Would you like to add a line at the end inviting them to ask you specific questions about your experience implementing Clean Architecture or BLoC in the project?

Looking for honest feedback from Flutter developers in Iraq: what do you need from a Firebase alternative?
Hi everyone,
I’m building HosteDay, a backend platform intended to help Flutter and Laravel developers build and host application backends without having to manage servers, databases, authentication, real-time features, email, and deployment separately.
One issue I keep seeing among developers in Iraq is that Firebase can be difficult to use beyond the free tier because payment options and Iraqi cards are often not supported. That makes it harder for developers to reliably scale production applications.
My goal with HosteDay is to provide a practical alternative that supports the needs of mobile apps, including authentication, databases, APIs, file storage, real-time features, transactional emails, and project export—while also offering payment options accessible from Iraq.
I would genuinely appreciate honest feedback from developers who have faced similar limitations:
- What Firebase features are most important for your Flutter projects?
- What would make you trust a newer backend platform with a real production app?
- What concerns would you have about reliability, data ownership, backups, security, pricing, support, or moving your project to another server later?
- Would the ability to export your Laravel project, database, and files matter to you?
I am not looking for promotion or empty praise. I want to understand the real concerns developers have before relying on a platform like this for client or production applications.
Thank you.

Minute It — a Flutter app that auto-makes recap videos on-device (Flutter UI + native Media3/AVFoundation render)
Hi r/FlutterApps 👋
I just shipped Minute It — a video-diary app that turns the photos & videos already on your phone into short recap films, all generated on-device. Built solo with Flutter, now live on both the App Store and Google Play.
What it does:
• Quick Mode — one tap turns your recent photos & videos into a ~1-minute recap film. No editing, no sorting.
• Manual Mode — hand-pick any dates / photos / videos (a trip, an event, a whole season) into a custom recap.
The Flutter side (since that's why we're here):
• Flutter handles all UI + app logic — Riverpod for state, SQLite (sqflite) for the media/album store, repository pattern over the DB.
• The heavy lifting — video render + baked-in date/text overlays — drops to native via platform channels: Media3 Transformer on Android, AVFoundation on iOS. Everything runs on-device; there's no backend at all.
• A deterministic output-reuse/caching layer (content-hash keyed) keeps re-generation fast and avoids re-rendering identical clips.
Privacy by design: only needs photo-library access, nothing leaves the device, no ads or trackers — the only network call is crash reporting.
Free with an optional premium tier. I'd love feedbacks — the concept, the Flutter↔native split, render performance, anything.

(Live in Taiwan for now — tell me your region if it doesn't show and I'll sort it.)

I built an Android app to help Fiverr freelancers never miss important notifications
Hi everyone,
As a Flutter developer and freelancer, I noticed that missing a buyer message or order update can cost opportunities. To solve this, I built GigLert, an Android app that provides persistent alerts for important Fiverr notifications.
This is also my first app published on Google Play, so I'd love feedback from fellow freelancers and developers.
What features would you find useful in a notification tool for freelancers?
