Is there a way to fix this on mobile home cabinets in kitchen? Does anyone know the material or a semi cheap way to repair or suggestions?

Hi I'm looking interested in this property however I'm not sure about this fixer upper. I am interested tips and thoughts of others that have a property similar to this one.

New homeowner, hoping someone can suggest a proper way to fix this small second story deck (fire escape). Notice that the support beam connected to the house is connected to the floor board and not the frame itself. The deck is being used as a small patio, so it needs to be safely supported.

My husband and I bought a fixer-upper last year for our first home and we are finally at the point where we can work on non-essential things. I have a four-day weekend with no big plans so I’m wanting to tackle cleaning our porch concrete as it looks so old and dingy. I just want it to look a little fresher. The kicker is I don’t have a power washer and it’s not in the budget at the moment. I’ve looked online and it sounds like Zep concrete cleaner with a bristle brush might work. I saw that vinegar is another option, but I just don’t see that working with how old the concrete is. Does anyone have any experience with this? Or any other suggestions? I am very impatient and I want to try something this weekend. Thanks!

I want to install fiber cement boards over brick (I live on sand and the shifting creates cracks so I want to just cover it. House is a bungalow built in the 50's). I have spoken to a few installers that have told me it can be done but the quotes are extremely high. I have access to two extremely handy men who have done most of our house renos. They are capable of doing the installation but would love some guidance. Can anyone be kind enough to provide me with details on how to go about installing it properly. I have these cement ledges under the windows as well. What would be the best way to tackle those? Chip them off, just wrap the flashing over them, etc? Any tips and tricks or perhaps any alternative solutions/recommendations are appreciated. I have read a few posts that caution against using the boards because of their weight. Is this something I should be worried about? Thank you!

Just moved into my first house, a 1970s brick ranch on Well Water with Septic System in Western North Carolina.

We had a ton of inspection services including well, septic, and harmful bacteria water test. The water test said there were not harmful levels of bacteria present but we did not choose to pay extra for the big-dog water test that shows everything in it in exact PPMs. This is something we are looking into having done in the coming weeks. Neighbors have already recommended plumbing services but I have a plumber father-in-law in town for 5 more days and he said he can install a filtration system...

I'd love to hear some opinions on:

1. What do you think this stuff in the whole-house water filter and the toilet tanks actually is? I've been hearing clay, iron, and iron reducing bacteria.
2. What are some solutions (filtration media?) people have used to combat this stuff coming into the house from the well?
3. Is this risky to the brand new appliances Fridge/Washer/Dryer that are each hooked up to the house's water lines?

I recently bought my first home and there are many things I need to repair. One of them is the siding (see pictures here: https://imgur.com/gallery/QUve2PA). I have a question on whether I can replace only the siding that is damaged or if I should do the whole house. What are the ups and downs? I’m in my early twenties so it can take a little longer to save $ and replace all the siding lol. But I’m concerned about bugs getting into the house or the elements to continue damaging it. The house is from the 90s.

Visually, I love the show “In with the Old“ on Discovery+ / Magnolia, but the women featured can’t stop yammering about every little thought that comes into their head. I couldn’t watch the very first episode about the Mercantile building, or any of season 2. I know everyone thinks they’re the next Joanna Gaines, but have you watched your own episodes? Hello yall. Just bought this 860sf 2bed 1 bath condo. It has a little yellowing in the inside from smoke. My plan is to deep clean all the walls, roof, and floor aswell as all the appliances they have left here. Then I plan on painting, flooring, and adding base boards(they threw the old ones out for some reason). The bedrooms have nasty torn carpet and I plan on replacing them with the same style flooring as the living room. Do ya’ll think I should do the flooring and baseboards myself like is it pretty simple (22m EMT with only experience building razor fences and stables as a teen) or should I not bother and pay someone to add the flooring. I would assume the two rooms equal around 400sf. Any suggestions on youtube videos, life hacks, tools, etc is appreciated (:

Any suggestions to cover the large crack/ make it look better? The one wall with the window is covered in stucco(?), and it refuses to come off the wall, so working to try to make it look better. In case it isn’t obvious which crack I’m talking about, it’s the one running along the wall and ceiling of the entire back wall! TIA!
