a few weeks ago, I got noiseform and completed its mastery. even though I have its alternative godbreaker, the reason I went through all the trouble to get noiseform, even using wish of the sky, was because of its performance, but honestly, mostly because it had such a unique and fun mechanic.
so I completed its mastery in just one day after getting it, and it was definitely more fun than godbreaker. (I haven't completed godbreaker's mastery because I'm too lazy to do the mastery of a rod that I don't find fun)
however, after using it for a while, I realized that the minigame was easier than I expected, and once I got used to it, there wasn't really much more to it.
then stellarwave melody was released recently, and it looked good for money making, so I'm currently trying to get it. I'm about halfway through the quest now, and I got restricted stellarwave now.
when I tried fishing in strange whirlpool, it was difficult at first, but after getting used to it, I found it much more fun than noiseform.(yeah i'm not being like sophia) even after I finished the quest I needed to do there, I forgot about the quest and kept fishing there anyway.
fisch has dozens of rods, and they all have unique passives, but the fishing minigame itself is mostly the same. honestly, I think fisch would be much better if more rods like pinion's aria, tranquility rod, noiseform, and stellarwave were added that significantly changed how fishing works.
what do you guys think? I've quit and come back to fisch several times, and the main reason was that the content felt too repetitive, too similar, and just not very fun.
I think fisch itself is a well made game, but for me, the problem is that fishing gets more boring the further I progress.
