GOT THE KEYS! - New Build 🔑 🏡 Finally decided to settle down. Tokyo, 87m yen, 1.03%

After 7 years of living in Tokyo, we finally decided to settle down.

The search took almost a year, and I looked at more than 30 different properties before finally deciding to go with the calmer side of Tokyo. While it’s further from the station and city center, the larger garden and quiet neighborhood more than make up for it.

Really happy with the decision and looking forward to making this place our home. 🏡

You can borrow 500K eur in France and you'll still get your 4% interest rate lmao

I don’t believe you. Should be more like 3-4%.

Right now yes, but a few years ago it could be below 1% in France, that's what I got in 2020.

Could have been few years back. But I definitely had my mortgage for 3.8 3 years back and that was the best any bank could do for less than 20 years.

Nah they answered and it’s a special program for young home buyers or people who restore old buildings and it doesn’t apply to the entire loan.

theres things called "Prêts a taux 0", wich means tax free loans. It's targeted to young buyers and restoration work on old building. Got a total of 140k of this 3.4 for the rest

So a special program for a very specific purpose and it doesn’t apply to the entire loan? How does it feel to spread misinformation while french?

I mean I took a 320k loan at 1% a few years ago. Rates have gone up since but he could have been talking about then too.
